Default Did i buy the wrong offset ?

alright amigos .. i thought i did enough research before i bought the wheels, but i think i screwed it up.

i bought the wheels Enkei Wheels Rim NT03+M 18x9.5 5x114.3 +40 offset. I got the 255/35R-18 potenzas as well. Issue is that tires are sticking out a bit now. i did lower it and it looks a little better now. Any pointers to make it looks nicer ? fenders are rolled already. I got the tein coil-overs so i can lower a bit more, but wondering if i am ****ed with this offset.

thanks

How much camber are you running?

Those aren’t really ‘easy’ fits on stock metal S2000. Especially with big 255 and being 18s.

Pictures may also help.

I have some ideas in mind, but pictures will determine anything I put forth.

-3 camber all four corners & you will be fine. My wheels are 18x9.5 +35 running 265/35 squared with rolled fenders with 1 finger gap lowered on Ohlins DFV.

This is an aggressive spec for sure especially on the front. It can be done but it is difficult no matter what. Like others said more camber will help. You could also look into things like the origin offset bushings. The 255 tire is also making this tougher.

on my setup, I am running 17x9.5 +40 255/40 Hankook RS4. I am on OEM body with rolled and pulled fenders, running -3 camber all around. I am also pretty low, maybe a half-finger gap between the tires and fenders, shaved and relocated rear bumper tab.

you have pictures of this setup? Currently in in situation where I have to run a 10mm spacer in front with 18x9.5 +45mm . So technically a +35mm offset in front and it looks supppppper wide.
