Default Refurbishing Honda S2000 OEM wheels

My recently purchased 2005 APs have the lovely OEM wheels that also have the diamond cut (I ate that) element on the spokes and outer edge. Most of the wheels have scatches and one of the wheels is heavily curbed (but not bent), given the cost of refurbishing diamond cut wheels, has anyone repaired their wheels and just painted them silver instead of messing with the diamond cut finishing? How would the wheels look painted in metallic silver? I simply hate the diamond cut because they are unrepairable by the common man

Thank you for your input and for haring and AP2 wheels that have been painted silver. Just wanted to see how they would look before I decide on which option to pursue.

My '06 was purchased used in 2004 2014 and had horrible, black, aftermarket (I think that's triple redundant) wheels. I was able to buy a set of refurbished APV2 wheels within a couple of months. I looked at them minutes ago and the spokes don't appear to be diamond cut. Not sure if they should be but yesterday I "discovered" there's another '06 in my neighborhood which was purchased new so I'll try to check if my wheels are "correct.".

Alternative: You can buy new well reviewed reproduction AP2V1 wheels for less than the cost to refinish your OEM wheels. I don't know if they're diamond cut or smooth but they're less expensive and they're new.

They appear to be Diamond cut, I can tell the difference in chine between the spoke and the wheel . . . Did you do all four wheels or just the one? How much did they run you per wheel if you do not mind me asking.

Thank you.

I did 2 rear wheels first i have to send 2 front wheels next. Its $125 a wheel but since I dropped it off with tires and told them to install newtire after it wwas painted it came out to $160 per wheel with tire mount unmount wheel balance and old tire disposal. They are not perfect upclose but i am happy the way they came out. You can even drop your car off they have a secure parking area and normally they can have wheels done next day
