Default Difficulty with Volk Center Caps

After recently purchasing some used Mag Blue TE37s (17x7.5 +48 and 17x9 +65), I ordered the GT high center caps from Tire Rack - #3 in this link: http://www.fizzautosports.com/images/forum...terCaps2RE2.jpg

I have two issues. First, they were an absolute pain to install . Grease, rubber mallet and force wouldn't work at all. I ran up to Discount Tire, and they couldn't even get them to pop in past the thick o-ring. So I removed the wheels and carefully smoothed out the wheel opening with a dremel, which finally allowed me to install them. Did I get the wrong center caps? I thought they would fit any Volk wheel.

Second, I don't even like how the silver caps look on the mag blue. What are my other options for center caps? Does anyone have #11 in the above link? They look like a generic plastic brand that snap in. Would those fit TE37s?

Thanks in advance!

according to their site, the GT-High center cap is meant for 19-inch TE-37's
