We are doing a test next week with the Star spec, RE11, Advan Neova and the Kumho XS. I will post what I find in driving them.
Awesome!! Can't wait for the results.

I put about 12k miles on my old Star Specs, and have been on the XS's for a little bit.

^were they toast after 12k miles or you just wanted something else on the newer wheels?

They weren't toast, but they didn't have much tread left. After 7k miles on them, they started to get very annoying(following every imperfection in the roads)... So I just went with something new.

I really like these tires so far , the only thing that keeps bothering me is that the rears look smaller than my old re-01 . I got the stock set up 205/55/16, 225/50/16 and the side walls look huge like high profile tires If I remember right the s-02 side walls were lower with the 55/50 set up? Thou it does cover some of the gap between the wheel fender since I'm not lower.
interesting...do you have pics?

Don't they only make a few sizes for the RS3?

I was suprised how well the Star Specs do in the rain - definitely wasn't expecting much but I'd say they are better than RE-750s
