I have these tires and theyre at a min of 70 percent life and they squirm on round abouts and on off ramps. They trigger my vsa with ease. I ordered tje v12 evo2 yesterday they seem like a good bang for buck in year round pnw weather. Id glady trade off star spec dry grip for better wet traction and tread life.

Yep. I had a set of these in a 245/40 square setup. Long lasting tires, and decent in the rain when they're relatively new. But I noticed that they have zero slip angle. You either have grip, or you don't. There's no indication of when they're going to break loose. Very scary tires to say the least. And near the end of their lifetime, I was struggling to keep it straight in the rain. They would hydroplane all over the place. I did get 35k miles out of a set though.

never really paid attention to published reviews on these. they weren't my choice of tires. little puzzled by everyone else's experiences though. they really weren't that bad in the wet. it was POURING on my drive back from TX, and i wasn't exactly driving like i had Miss Daisy in the passenger seat either. lol

My feelings exactly. I actually find them quite progressive in regards to slip in the dry. I live in Portland and have found them to be fine in the rain so long as I stay out of the channels (which would be the case no matter the tire). RS3's are scary in the rain.

Lol^^^ yeah the cords are just starting to show. Trust me I don't drive in the rain wit em it's to scary.

I finally found tires to replace my wheels. Took a long time to track em down online but I will be running RE01R all around. I found two new 215/45/17 for my fronts shipped for 409. I have four 80-90% 255/35/18 for the rears.
