After some spinnin' incident on highway today... i went to Just Tires and pre-ordered Dunlop SP Wintersport M2... and now.. i need to fetch some cheap rims to hang the tires on... and yea... didn't find the bolt patterns yon our rims yet... anyone got a heart to help a n00b out?
Make sure you get the right offset too. I think it's about 48-50. Make sure they are specific for the S2K otherwise you will have issues with rubbing or sticking out like a dropped beetle
I use a set of cheap "rock" wheels: 16 X 7", 44 mm offset. They stick out only slightly. I use the stock sizes of snow tires. For winter duty, this setup is quite workable.
Look carefully in this pic and you'll see snow tires on stock wheels and my "rock" wheels. You can see just how much the "stick out" is:
