Haven't had the Hankooks long enough to decide what I like better but they are very close. I'm also running non-staggered 255. With such a dramatic difference in setup, it's hard to really compare fairly. Both are good. XS sucks in the rain, Hankook is supposed to be a bit better but I haven't really gotten to that yet.

Hankooks wear like bricks and grip like glue. XS's grip really wear but wear quite a bit faster. I haven't driven the Hankooks in the wet yet, so I cant comment on how they perform in the wet. Through back to back to back testing on a 60 second auto-x course, I've found that the Hankook's are about .4xx faster on concrete and XS's are about .4xx faster on asphalt.

So far the hankooks sound pretty good, looks
Like I'm going to get those if I can find them local. I can't afford to wait for shipping. My current rears have zero tread left lol.

I use to run those for a while, i think they are pretty good. I still have a brand new set of T1R's (rears) on my AP1 rims. I have also used their proxes4. Its been a while since i ran them but they are a good street tire.

I went to the RS3 255 with my StarS on the front. Much better tire. The starspec was much more stiff vertically (bumpthump) but numb, I now have better grip and better feel. The starspec was very forgiving, excellent tire, but no contest in the dry.

Tire Rack for you drkphnx ships from South Bend, IN. Order with regular shipping and it will be at your door tomorrow. Or if you are really impatient, you can drive out there and have them mounted on your car in less than 3 hours from when you left your house. It's a pretty easy drive.
