falken eurowinter
I tried to get them. I think they are a perfect choice. My dealers said I'd have to wait 3 weeks and that was a maybe. I ended up with Conti-DWS's which I really like. No bad oversteer with the 205 as I wondered about.
ok. i wound up getting thes falken eurowinters in 205/55 16s all around. i think they are fine for cold weather. they are better than the stock 17" bridgestones on my ap2 in these frigid temps. . . but i guess that was expected. i haven't driven fast around corners, and dont plan to in these skinny tires, but i dont take them slow either, and I have yet to lose grip.
just an update for these tires. we had 16 inches of snow yesterday, took the s out today and the roads were semi plowed. i did not feel confident at all with the s and these falken's. i don't blame the tires, i just don't think the s is safe for the icy roads even with these thinner winter tires. i changed to the camry for the afternoon. . . good ol front wheel drive.
