I got mine from www.edgeracing.com. $547 shipped to my door. Don't know what Discount Tire has them for.

So far so good. I haven't pushed them too hard yet. There is an autocross on the 29th of May here that I am planning on attending to experiment with their limits. From what I can feel, they stick like glue. I haven't even come close to hearing them complain though. They seem like the kind of tire that's going to be dead silent until the car snaps, but I could be wrong. We shall see.

By looking at the tread widths of the tires (rt615's) 215/45/17F (T.W.-7.4) 255/40/17R (T.W.- 9.4) will retain closer stagger than 225/45/15 F (T.W.-8.3). The oem's for the ap2 are T.W.- F 6.7 R9.0.
Also, I see that they refer to autocross on the details of the tire, what about the high track temps from HPDE events? Anybody with 20 minutes track sessions on these puppies? Greasy after a few miles when hot?

I have them for the street. I can't tell you how they would be on the track as of yet. Let me tell you, if you get on it on the highway with these. Whenever you get where your going they smell like rubber and they get hot. Hotter than other tires that I have owned after driving on the highway for some distance. I really doubt that they would decrease in performance on the track, I would think that quite the opposite would be true. These tires I just got them and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my purchase thus far.
