Default Front Centerbore Question

If i have a set of ccws 17x9 +28 offset and the center bore on these are 64.1 how do i fit it on the s2000? The rears will work no doubt but the front has a 70.1mm center bore so my plan was to get extended studs with an 8mm spacer to flatten that center bore out and match it up with the ccws 64.1 center bore. IDK though would i buy a spacer or an adapter? Please shine some light on this wheel fitment. Thanks fellow s2000s.

Search hubcentric rings to get the hubs to match up.

The +28 offset is not the right size for the s2k. Hope you can return these wheels!

This wont work mate.

If the car's centerbore is 70mm, and the CCW are made for 99% of Honda with CB of 64mm, how can any hub centric ring option work.

OP:

if you go extended studs, you have the option to put down a floating spacer. If you keeping oem size studs, you can just use a bolt on spacer

- your goal with the spacer option is to just be thick enough to clear the OEM 70mm CB, and just make sure the CB on the new spacer is of 64.1mm.

IMO better option to go with bolt on spacer, that way if you ever go back to OEM to can without issues. IE going extended studs, and going back to OEM wheels. the wheels will fit but your closed ended nuts wont tighten.

You have a few options.

Option 1: Run a 5mm spacer. This is all you need to clear the front hub and it is still safe as the lugs have enough engaugement.

Option 2: Have the wheel center bored out to the proper size. This is more work and more costly but it is the most correct way to do this.

As others said I hope you have a wide body because the center bore of the wheels is only one of the reasons this isn't going to work.
