What kind of 225 tire is 9.1" in tread depth?

Although tires vary in width in tread with from tire to tire, a 225 tire will typically always be 8.85" from sidewall to sidewall. I would think that the beads from side to side would be a little bit narrower the the sidewalls, thus allowing the use of an 8" wheel.
