I don't drive like a pansy either

I've never done a burn-out or power slide in my S2000, and my S02 lasted me about 12,000mi. People who drive aggressivly AND who do burn outs or powerslides have reported complete baldness with cords showing within 10,000mi.
Rotating them from side to side is a great way to prolong the life of the tire, but it can get pricey if you have to pay each time you want to dismount/mount/balance the tires.
Admittidly, a big part of it can be the type of pavement you drive on. Your highways might be better road surfaces than my roadways. I dunno.
No car was "made" for drifting. Do a search for the RSR S2000 that competes in Formula D. Take a look at all the modifications they had to make so they could control the drifts in this car. The S2000 generally wants to either KEEP rotating around, or SNAP back (sometimes causing it to go PAST the point where it would be pointed straight again.) Either way, it is not a very good drift car.

Wow.......... where to start.....
First off, the tires are Bridgestone Potenza "SO2s".
I am setting the countdown clock on the "Lost control, wrecked my car" thread.
*fixed

Get some more coffee
It's Bridgestone Potenza Sierra, dash, zero two, or S-02.
Not Sierra Oscar two.
Copy that?
I recently put GoodYear Eagle F1 DS3s on mine. There will be no drifting on these tires,
(or in my car) they are a lot stickier than the S-02s were. I got about 40K out of the Potenzas. We'll see how these do for wear.
