Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
I was wondering if anyone has tried these tires.. they seemed to be good tires.. just wanted to get peoples opinions on them before i order them.. thanks..
I have driven them and they are very good. It is very comparable to the other max performance tires. It is the best Goodyear tire I have driven on.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you

I just ordered a set of 4 for the RSXtypeS in 225/45/17's. Let you know what I think of them after a while.
Ordered from Tirerack, tires and four 7.5"X17" Kosei rims as well. Wasn't thinking when I ordered or would have gone through you, Jim. They are supposed to ship on the 10th or so.

In the 16" you will have to run the OE tire sizes. The 205/55R16 is 108.00 and the 225/50R16 is 135.00 each. It is not something I would recommend though. The 225/50R16 Goodyear is 1.2" narrower than the OE S02.

Jim you guys at tirerack are quick, my 4 tires and rims are here already. I was given the 10th as a tentative ship date and when I got home today (5 APR) there was a note on the door from FEDEX that they had tried to deliver them. I was dealing with a Doug or Dan can't remember. BTW these are going on an RSXtypeS.

Let me preface this I drive an RSXtypeS.
First impression of these tires Whoaaaa! Grippy yet quiet. Took them over all kinds of road surfaces this morning, and even with it still being somewhat cold they don't leave much to be desired. I will post more about them as the miles pile up. It's a big difference from the stock tires (Michelin HX MXM4 205/55/VR16 on 6.5"wide rims), some of which can be attributed to the 7.5" wide rims also. The ride wasn't overly harsh, as a matter of fact it seemed better than the stock tires even with the narrower sidewalls. (maybe due to the extra width) No squealing under brisk take-offs. One surprising thing was that the car seemed to torque steer less. However roads that have big swales (longitudinal depressions from the heavy trucks) in them it did want to track along the swale more. I didn't get out to any gravel roads, to see how they will react there, since they are all still snow covered and getting quite muddy. Sorry no pictures yet.
The stock tire with 32000 miles of wear (the wear bars are just at the surface of the tread) and rim weighed 37+ on my bathroom scale. Just a little over 38# for the 17" X 7.5" rim and 225/45/ZR17 tire.
