Got some new rims, what tyres and camber settings?
Well I dropped my Ap1 2003 S2000 in at the shop to have the fenders rolled and the rear bar tab moved today. It runs Eibach lowered springs....I think they only do one height anyway it's not too low - no wheel tuck.
I have Volk CV Pro 17x8 front and 17x9 rear +45 all round standing by to have rubber put on. First up I was looking at running 235x45x17 front and 255x40x17 rear in the Toyo T1R. Next up what sort of neg camber setting front and rear should I look at? I have heard 1.5 neg front and 2 neg rear is that UK spec? Let me know if you think it's the way I should go.
I looked at the table for wheel fitment but I don't think it allows for fender roll or something as I didn't see any reference to 235/245 fronts working with a +45 17" on the front.
Thanks guys!
James
Wheels I have now below.

235/40-17 would be better (shorter, closer to stock diameter, less likely to rub) than 235/45-17 up front. 255/40-17 rears should be fine.
I'd go with Dunlop Star Specs, Bridgestone RE-11s, or Yokohama AD08's over Toyo T1Rs.
I'd aim for ~1.5 - 2 degrees camber up front, zero toe, and ~2 - 2.5 degrees rear camber, 2x 0.2 - 0.25 (0.4 - 0.5 total) rear toe.

Thanks. Star specs not quite released yet here in Australia. I might look into the Yok/Bridg tyres this week. I run Toyo T1R now they seemed ok, but willing to look around. Mainly concerned with getting the right sizing so not to scrub etc.

Well the rims are on and it looks/feels great.
255x40x17 rear on 9" rim and 225 45 17 front on 8" rim +45 all around. Rolled the fenders, trimed the bumper tab and a UK spec alignment and it looks and drives so different to stock!
The boys at the alignment shop even kept the UK spec PDF I printed from here for future reference they loved it so much.
It does feel slightly less "centred" a hi speed, perhaps I was just used to OEM 16" stock setup but the turn in and grip is amazing at higher speeds! The shop said the max caster on the front helps with high speed stability.
Thanks guys for the advice!!!

Ok had a few weeks to get used to the new wheels and the turn in response is excellent. At speed over 100km/h though I am constantly correcting as if the car wanders slightly left to right.
As stated UK alignment spec. Does the front toe in give the car better straight line directional stability at high speed?
Cheers.
