Default Has anyone used TyreGuardian?

It's supposed to not weigh anything and is supposed to be used before you get a puncture to make your tires puncture proof. I don't have my spare tire to save weight and this would be a great thing for me to use (other option is a tow truck!).

Anyone with experience with this product? Looks like it's popular with the European cars.

Nothing will make a tire puncture proof. You can try something like the Continental Comfort Kit.

Thanks Jim. That kit is really similar to the Honda CR kit for flats (it works...saved my butt once already). However, the TyreGuardian has a pretty novell idea by protecting your tires from puncture in the first place.

I guess no S2000 owners have used this? I think I'm going to give it a shot when I get new tires.

It's the only solution for me since I'm running BBK at the front and rear. Thanks for reminding me that I need to get one of those.

I am not sure if it would ruin TPMS sensors.

It won't damage the sensors. I did some research about this kit before purchasing it two days ago. I wrote a review about it in our local forum. Unfortunately its written in my native language but I'll write it in English as well, probably within this weekend and post it the soonest possible. Since this item cannot be shipped outside US, I had to purchase it locally.

Anyway, here is a link regarding the TPMS sensors.
