Default Having Trouble with Size ...AP1

I am trying to pick out new wheels and tires for my AP1 on tirerack, and am having problems getting what I am looking for.

Here is what I think I want/need

Front
OZ Allegerita 17x7.5 +48
Michelin PSS 215/40/17

Rear
OZ Allegerita 17x8.5 +59
Michelin PSS 245/45/17

When I put my car in to tirerack it won't let me do this setup, only 205 up front. Would this not fit ? Tire rack allows this for a 2008 CR

Tirerack really limits what you can do, even down to the model year as you have seen the difference between the 08 and your AP1. Since you are using an AP1, it wants to use 205/225 tires. Just enter your model year as an AP2 or call them. Your sidewall numbers are reversed, should be 215/45 and 245/40. It should all fit perfectly.

yes, sidewall is reversed, sorry

Thanks for the info, I just want to make sure these will fit, don't know why Tire Rack shows a difference with the two models.

They should fit with the right sidewalls thats probably why tire rack isn't allowing it. They are very conservative with the fitments. Fitment is no different across the model years.

I had the sidewall correct on Tire Rack and it still wouldn't let me. I spoke to them and they confirmed it would work too. So I ordered them.

Thanks guys

I think the sizes you have listed in the OP are perfectly fine (you've realized to flip the tire series) as long as you're not too low. You might rub a little on the front fender tabs if you push the car hard in a corner.
