Default heavy Wheel Weight? Is it bad?

Hi

Looking at these rims 5-Zigen ProRacer ZR+520 but they weigh 25 lbs that heavier then stock, what impact might that have on the car ?

not too sure, but in general:

just because a wheel is heavy doesn't mean it's all too bad.

it depends on where most of that weigh is distributed. if it's towards the outside, then it'll take more power to spin the wheels. if it's towards the center of rotation, it won't take as much power.

also, the strength of the wheel, imo, is more important. i'd rather have a heavy wheel that won't deform while it's being loaded, then a light wheel that isn't as stiff.

so to answer your question: i don't know.

Your going to have more rotational mass but in your case i dont think you'd notice it that much unless your racing

If it is for street use you are probably not going to notice anything.

I think the problems you'll face will be later down the line. Heavier wheel can stress a lot of parts, especially on your brakes. If you can afford it, I would go lighter than stock.
