Default Help please 17x8 rims for front?

Ok, i am overseas and the search function will not work for some reason!!! I have to make a desicion by tomorrow and was wanting to know if anyone is running a 17x8 +40 front rim. If so what did you have to do to make it not rub? Will camber and rolling the fenders be enough or will i have to get wider front fenders???
Thanks
Fadi

He has probably rolled AND pulled his front fenders and removed his liners. Just a guess.

I'm running 17x9 +44 up front and have rolled/pulled fenders with 1.5deg of camber....I had stock fenders before and didn't rub....it depends on what size tires you get and how low you are also

i was thinking of a 225 or 235 if possable. I have tein coilovers, so i can adjust height...but i was thinking of about an 1" drop.
Would a 235 work or should i get smaller? i want a 235 bc i will be running a 17x10 rim and 275 or 285 tire on the rear and didnt want something too skinny on the front.
Thanks for all the help guys

The 235 would be too tall. Just stay with the 225/45R17 in the front.
