Default Help with rim sizes?

I had a question regarding my wheels i bought, I got 18 x 10, 15 offset, I was wondering what is the equivalent offset in a 18 x 10.5 rim? If 1 inch=25.4mm, then 1/2 inch=12.2 mm? So, an 18 x 10, 15 offset rim, would be an equivalent of 18 x 10.5, 27offset rim? Let me know your inputs if im understanding this wheel fitment correctly. Thanks

Almost. 1/2 in = 12.7 mm. If the rim is 1/2" wider and the offset is the same, you have to split the difference. The wheel will stick out 1/4" further to the fender and 1/4" on the inside towards the suspension. A 10" +15 would have the same outer fender clearance as a 10.5" +21.35.
