I need a Winter Tire setup recommendation

have conti winter contact something or another. will start 5th winter. great in snow and ice, unstoppable.
not so great on dry or very wet roads. hydroplaned badly on rainy road (not sure how but prob mightve done anyways in normal tires) and long breaking distances in dry

I live in NYC and I've always dailied my car. In the past I've enjoyed Dunlop SP WinterSport 3D (front) and WinterSport M3 (rear) which I bought brand new and were awesome tires. My next set of winters was a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks which were slightly used which I bought from another member on a set of AP1 wheels. Both of these setups were awesome and wet grip and traction even in deep snow were excellent. Time has come and again I need a set of winter tires. Problem is that now I need another set of winter tires and it seems they aren't manufacturing either of these tires in S2000 sizes anymore. BTW I always run 16" wheels setup.
My Dunlops were 225/50/16 and 205/55/16. I forget what size the Blizzaks are but I think they are a square 205/55/16.
I need to be at work very early in the morning daily sometimes before the side streets are plowed out and sometimes I may have to leave work late in the midst of a snow storm. Translated I need something that WILL go in deep snow and grip the highway well in the wet. So what is everyone running now for their winter setup?

Winter tires need grip in the dry and wet as well. Half the winter is spent on dry roads waiting for snow or after the snow melts driving around on wet roads. My Dunlop WinterSports had a great grip in the wet and dry, Blizzaks a little less so IMO
