i'm thinking about importing a set of tires from japan and was wondering if anyone here knew anything about the following tires, besides the fact that they are not DOT approved, such as how they will hold up in rain, how much and if anyone here can get them? the reason being that i can't find a set of tires for my rims from the same manufacture, 225/40/18 and 245/35/18 thanks

Whoa, those have some cool lookin tread patterns. Visually, the first and lest seem like they might be better in rain as they have large channels in the center. I know those Goodyear Aquatreads have similar channels... no real data other than that to base my opinion on.
