Default Jim@ the Tire Rack...

I own a 2000 Honda S2000 that I am looking to upgrade rims and tires on.

I was looking at the Enkei RPF1's. I'd like to go with a 17" rim all around, obviously. I'd also like to run Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R tires.

I would like the offset to allow the tires to sit just under the lip of the fender -- i.e. I don't want them tucked in, and I don't want them sticking out. I may lower the car in the future, so I want to still be able to do that without rolling fenders, etc.

I saw 255/40/17 (rear) and 225/45/17's (front) RE-01R's on stock 17" rims that you sold to someone I know. Looked great. Is it possible to do something like that with a rim setup from Enkei on the RPF1's in silver?

I live in Chicago -- 60543, so I'm curious of the cost, in total, shipped.

Thanks so much for your help!

I have sold some 17X9 wheels but they are an aggressive fit and may require a fender lip roll. I do have the black wheel in stock in 17X7.5 and 17X8. Let me know what size you were thinking and I can get you a total.

all the rpf1's for the s2000 come in a +47 (7.5in) or a +45 which (with a normal size tire) will not require fender rolling UNLESS you are lowered. negative camber can also help

I'd prefer to stick with something that won't require the lip being rolled. I guess 17x7.5 up front and 17X8 in the rear? Can I get the tires (size) I listed in my original post on those rim sizes? Also, I'm not interested in the black. Do you know when the silver will be back in stock?

Thanks!
