Lots of negative camber?
Hey guys, you may remember I posted up a question a little while ago about getting an alignment done after new wheels/tires. Anyway I called up West End Alignment and darren assured me there is no need for an alignment.
Anyway, now that I have my new wheels/tires on. It looks like I have loads of negative camber. I never noticed (or probably even looked) at what it was before, but now looking from the rear I can see the tops of the tires facing inward.
Is it normal to have a semi or very semi aggressive alignment with enough negative camber where its actually noticeable??
If pics are needed let me know! TIA

New wheels shouldn't have anything to do with you alignment unless it was that way before you touched it. But, if you messed with the suspension like changed out springs, you will need an alignment. You should see some negative camber in the rear as it is designed that way for better handling. If it's more than you think is necessary, you should get it checked by a good shop.
hmm, maybe ill take a pic for good measure either way. Maybe I even have one already on here, not sure.
I didnt play with the suspension at all. Havent touched it. Just seems like more than I remember but is all good. Ill see how it feels once my tires are broken in

I think it has to do with the face of the wheels. It makes it more noticeable. I have a bunch of Camber too and you can notice it by looking at the wheels.
Darren does alignments with negative camber and adds some toe to keep the wear down (at keast thats how he explained it to me)
