Default mileage expectancy on Neovas

I just installed 225 and 255 neovas on my 04 stock 17in rims. I love the tire, very very sticky, but was wondering how many miles can I expect from them. I ran down my stock re050's in 13k.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

RE 050 treadwear = 140 =13000miles
Advan Neova treadwear= 180 = 16-17000 miles?
Advan 048 treadwear =60 = 6000?miles

Advan Neova rated at 180/AA/A at:

Tire Rack list the RE050 at 140/A/A. So, I expect a little better wear.

My bad, I was thinking of the Advan 048, that's the one with the 60 treadwear. The Neovas should give you slightly better treadwear than the RE 050's

All I can say is that I am pleasantly shocked that they give better wear.
They are alot stickier than the re050, IMO and I actually think they ride alot softer, helps bumpsteer ALOT.

Thanks to all that answered, very much appreciated. Now I don't feel so quilty for spending the money. he he

Take care

You can't compare treadwear ratings from different manufacturers, it doesn't work that way.

yea, iRE-01R (which wears faster than RE050s, I'm sure) has much better wear characteristics than AD-07 Neovas.

It's not quite that simple, the original inent of the UTQG was exactly that, to be able to compare the average rate of treadware against a fixed standard on fleet drives. Many manufacturers use loopholes to skew data, but the treadware rating's intent was to compare apples to apples.
Here's a wikipedia article with more info.

Not enough to tell you anything about wear yet, but the ride:

Yeah baby!
