Default Need good cheap tires

MY04. It's a daily driver and I average like 16,000 miles a year on my car! So tread life is definitely important, but so is handling/grip. I just need some help on deciding on tires.

Yokohoma avs es 100 had ok life and crap handling imo
Toyo t1r seemed to be good all around, could use a bit more grip though.
S02's don't last long at all, but handle great.

Anything out there that is close to $100 for the rear setup, but still has great specs?

Check out Falken FK452's. I think they're around the same treadware as the Toyo T1R's. Probably more than $100/tire though.

Im liking the Kumho MX's, little better grip and better ride but with slightly less steering response.

I have Fuzion ZRi on my car all around, I don't drive my car hard, so I'm not sure about how well they hold traction. They are nice looking and at 92 dollars each for the rear tires, a good buy.

falken 452, summer performance, pretty decent thread life and you will see them better fit for a daily driver than the yokohamas. for 16s you can probably get them under a 100!

Sorry I don't know the '04 tires sizes off the top of my head, as I'm thinking those are 17", but if the Hankook RS-2 Z212 comes in your sizes I sayget them.

Yea the '04s are 17". Would having toyo's T1r's in the front and a different set on the back be bad?
