Ok . . . so here's the situation

I just took off my volks and put my stock ap1 rims back on . . . however, there are hubcentric rings still on the fronts, I couldn't get them off, was able to get the rears off though . . . so do I absolutely have to remove the hub rings, or will the car be safe with them still on under the stockers . . . and no, the stockers are not sitting flush with the hub, there is a small gap inbetween the wheels and the hub

Thanks in advance!

You do have to get them off. The wheels are not going to go all the way on if you don't and they can come off if the bolts loosen.

I got them off this morning . . . took a screwdriver and hammer, and hit against the inside of the hub ring that was slightly extended past the rim of the hub . . . took about 2 minutes a piece to get them loose, then pry them off

thanks for the info!
