Default Need Help w/Front Tires Selection with RE01 Rear

hello guys. I need some help from you all. I got in on that deal a few months ago for the re01r tires and I finally put it on the rear of my tires. I'm an idiot for not purchasing the front the same time.

anyways, i still have the stock front tires in the front. Lately I have been noticing that my VSA is lighting up and applying the brakes around any time of aggressive driving. I am thinking the stock tires in front is causing this.

I went with 255/40/17 in the rear. From what i have research, i should go with 225/45/17 in the front.

Do I go with RE11 or the Dunlop direzza sport z1 star spec. Eventually when the re01r in the rear wears out, I would like to go with dunlop all around. anyways, what should i go with so that I get my car back to being stable again. I don't feel that stable with the current setup, not like when I had the stock tires. It felt I was in complete control. Now it sways a little bit and the feeling response isn't as tight as before.

any suggestion would greatly help. Thank you.

I think either one should be fine. The tire compounds are pretty similar between the two tires. I know a guy who runs RE-01Rs in the rear with Star Specs in the front and he's lovin it.

Well if you are eventually going to go Star Specs all the way around again, I'd say get them in the front now. Great tire! (Short life, but with that kind of grip, its to be expected).

Or you could buy my brand new Bridgestone RE-01R tires (225s with matching 255 or 245 rears - your choice) for $680 shipped for a set of four... That way you have a good set of fronts and another set of rears for CHEAP! My car is sold this weekend so I'm blowing out my spare sets of tires...

wouldn't the RE11 wear out faster than the star spec? 180 threadwear vs 200.

Can't compare treadwear ratings across brands. They probably wear just the same. I think some members on here already got some...
