I see Tire Rack has RE050 Pole position and just plain RE050 and there was some other one on sale, but was 255. Which is the best?

Our OEM tires are the regular RE050 - not the pole postions, or the RE050A for that matter. Stick with the stock sizes unless you have a firm idea of what you are trying to accomplish with a change, IMO.

I want to retain the excellent handling! I was hoping Jim could shed some light on the other two RE050s. Whether they can be used without upsetting the handling or not. I would like to save a few bucks trying them, but not at the expense of losing handling capabilities.

If you want to stay with OEM sizes (stagger), stay with the RE050. Although you will find the rear OEM size in the other Potenza's, the only one other than the RE050 in OEM front size is the S03 Pole Position.

I've read some good things about the re050a's... wrt tread life being better and maybe even traction being a hair better, but more info would be good
