Need new tires for an '02
OK so here is the deal. I have an 02. Currently have S02's in the front (which are the original ones never changed them) and S03's in the back. They ALL need to be replaced. Here's my problem. I have to change them because they are bad, but i also don't want to spend too much $$ on new ones. My lease is up in a year and I might be getting out of the lease in 6 months. I know S02's and S03's are the best but is there something a little more affordable? I don't drive hard, but it is a daily driver, and has to do good in the rain and Florida's Rainy season is fast approaching.
PLEASE help with what brand and sizes you all recommend. Prices would be a plus but not really needed.
Thanks!

Sure you can change the tires. Take a look at the Fuzion Zri or the Yoko ES100. Both of these tires would be fine on the car. I would use different sizes than stock but handling would be better in the wet than the S02.
Give me a call if I can help.

Hey Jim
Thanks for calling me back this morning! Greatly appreciate your help... I know you have suggested the Fuzion's but now some of the guys on the South Florida Forum are telling me I shouldn't go with 225's in the front instead with 205's. I just want to make sure the correct tire size I need.
Front: 225/50R16
Rear: 245/45R16
Is that RIGHT?
Again thanks for the help, it looks like I might get the tires sooner than I thought. Will let you know.

For the Fuzion the 225/50R16 in the front is the best size. They are 7.2" tread width and the OE tires are 7.1" tread width. For this specific tire they are the best size.
If I can help let me know.
