Been through S02's when I first got the car, switched up to S03's all the way around through 2 complete sets. My rears are in need of replacement. The fronts look good so I'm looking for a comparable set for the rear that will go well with S03's up front since they have been discontinued. I was thinking Potenza RE050A Pole Position. Any thoughts?

Also with my S-03's I was running 235's since the 225's in the S-03's are actually smaller than stock size. Would I have to do this again with the RE050A's if I was to go with this choice?

RE050A Pole Positions should be an improvement over the EXCELLENT S03's (had a set on my street/track 240Z). No 235 or 245 available for 16" wheels, though. Still I'd rather have those tires (or RE01R's if the car isn't driven in heavy rain) in 225 for the rear than any other real street tire in 245/45.

However, in a moment of cheapness, I got Hankook Z212 RS2's, 205/50-16 front, 245/45-16 rear, from www.edgeracing.com for ~$175 less than the RE050A PP's. So far so good!

 

Let me know what you come up with - I just want a pair that will friggin last...
