I have just bought new rims for my S2000

the size is 17" 7.5 for rear & front.

what are the recommended tires size?

The 245/40R17 needs at least a 17X8 wheel. The best match for the 17X7.5 is a 205/50R17 front and 225/45R17 rear. This will keep a stagger and keep you in the same diameter front and rear.
