Well I finally got the 205/225 s03's put on and what a difference! I immediately noticed better steering response and better handling even though they are not worn in yet. Still not as immediate as the s02's but due to the high rating for wet/dry I'm willing to live with the subtle differences. I took the car on a spirited test drive and I am very happy with the initial character of the s03's. If they are this pleasing now I can't wait until the releasing agent wears off and find out what they are capable of. Lesson learned...don't skimp on shoes!

i'm not sure this statement is correct. i would assume that less traction in the front would mean there would be more oversteer...hence, beefier sways in the front would create more traction in the front and cause more understeer, relative the the amount of traction in the rear. another way to look at it would be softening the sways in the rear (less traction in the rear), thereby inducing more understeer as the front has more traction relative to the rear traction.

1.) Tires must be broken in for several hundred miles. This is also a good time to do #2 after.
2.) Check alignment.
3.) TIRE PRESSURE. All tires are different, and some have optimal fill ranges of more (usually) or less (few) PSI than the stockers.

The Fuzion does handle the best with the 225/50R16 front and 245/45R16 rear. In this set up the contact patch is within 1/10" front and rear of the stock S02. Some people do not like the look of the 225/50R16 on the front but they do work.
I would also like to say break the tires in to see the true handling of the tire. Keep in mind you are on a full tread depth tire with the release compound on the top layer of the tire. They will get better but they are not going to give you S02 handling in the dry.
If I can help let me know.
