New Tires, Rubbing Issues!

Hey guys...I was not having any problems before, then I got tires that were the wrong size and now I'm having rubbing issues. Should I get the rims machined or cut the fenders off?
Are you serious?
Seeing as how a tire store sold you tires that didn't fit, tell them, they don't fit, they rub, I need new tires.

Poor offset + tall tires (45) + drop = rub
It's pretty easy.
Get a higher offset wheel
Get a narrower and shorter tire
Raise the car
Roll the fenders
Run big negative camber
I'd probably go with the 235 setup and some more neg camber.

I have seen it in person and his tires were fine. This guy is only dropped an inch or so and with -camber and rolled fenders, I think he will be fine.
The guy's car that I saw with the 255s and rolled fenders was on RT615s and his tires were tucked behind the fender which leads me to believe that he will not rub. His tires also did not indicate rubbing.
I would say to the original poster to play it safe and run a 235/40/17 RT615.
+45 offset is not bad if you know what you are doing. I am on +45s now and would be more than happy to show my pics... I don't rub

FYI.
Falken Azenis RT615 do not come in a 245-40-17. Thats why they sold you off the 245-45 which now is causing you rubbing issues, and is now throwing off your speedometer if you haven't noticed yet due to the incorrect tire size and its rotational diameter. Either get a 235, or a 255 because either or your going to be undersized or oversized
