Default Newbie Here!

i have had a used 2001 Honda S2K for about 3 months now, and my tires are torn up. Time to get new tires. The stock tires do horrible in the rain. I know absolutely nothing about tires, besides the fact that i need new tires. What kind of tires should i get? Suggestions?

i think you'll find that the best choice is to stay with OEM spec S 02's. If you want to go with a different tire remember that the Stook has a specially made set of rear tires (you'll have to buy a 245 series tire in any other brand to get the same contact patch.)

You can get them there, but unless you negotiate a better price, you'll pay over $200/tire. My advice call TireRack, specifically:

Jim 877-522-8473-364

He'll make sure you get the right tires at a price that averages around $160/tire, plus shipping of around $50, but you'll save sales tax.

Get the tires drop-shipped to a local tire store, after you ask the tire store if that's OK. Or get the tires shipped to a store that TireRack recommends. Have that tire store mount and balance your tires on the correct wheels and off you go.

Good luck.
