Actually, I have heard mixed responses from them. I wanted a more detailed response but it seems I won't be able to get it here. Just sarcasm.
In any case, would anybody be happen to answer my question about Toyo tires. I remember reading that their tires are usually used when clearances will be tight because of their sidewalls are a certain design. Is that true?

what are you talking about sarcasm.
you have people here who know what they are talking about telling you it wouldn't be a good idea....
everytime someone says its not a good idea, you mention your friend with the same setup. obviously if they are running it fine,
you should be too. thats jus common sense
and to answer you question, +45 seems to be tooo low for a 9" wide rear wheel

That was never my question. I have always know it will be close.
My question was if Toyo Proxes will help clear the lip a little better. Anybody have any experience with them?

Here is a pic on Birdie's car and I know he was lowered more than 1.5''. Plus he didn't roll the fenders at all. He is running 215 in the front and 245 in the back.
