Do a search on Kumho SPT, you will find a lot of posts about it. In general, most people are happy with it for the price they paid. Performance on dry is good, not as good as S02 or S03 but it is a lot cheaper, ride and noise are good, wet handling is better than S02 and tread life is longer than those two.

The only problem is SPT is not available in size 245/45R16 for the rear, tread width of 225/50R16 is not as wide as S02 so that it may increase oversteer.

I didn't know you are running it with 17" wheels. If you are using 225/45R17 fronts, then 255/40R17 should be on the rears.

DO NOT run 255/40/17. Run 255/35/17. I just bought these and I bought the 255/40/17 and I'm experiencing more sway due to the tire being higher.

Here's my thread
