Default overall diameter change?

I am looking to buy Volk CN28 in 17". I want to keep the weight down as much as possible and get a little bigger contact patch front and rear.

1. Which wheel sizes and offsets should I use?

I see that alot of people are running 275's rears, I do not want to run that much rubber, because I do not want to add alot of unsprung weight.
I currently am getting coilovers in the next two weeks and will only lower it about 1" front and rear.

2. Will these wheels and tires change the overall diameter as compared to stock wheels and tires?

1) Volk Racing CE28n
17x7.5 114.3 50mm offset front
17x9.0 114.3 63mm offset rear

2) I would start with
225/45 front
255/40 rear

The wheels are around 3.5 - 4 pounds lighter per corner than the stock 16" wheels. Depending on which tires you get, they will probably be a 1 - 3 pounds per corner heavier than the OEM SO-2s. So overall you will probably net slightly lighter.

I believe that those sizes are very close to the same overall diameter as the stock wheel/tire combo.

245/40 is a better match in overall diameter for the rears. it will be slightly lighter, but the contact patch listed by tire rack is smaller than the stock rear tires. i don't think this is correct, based on my own observations, but that's what it says.
