The S2000 is not as sensitive as some other cars so you should be fine without rings, I've done both, doesn't seem to make a difference.

Per your suggestion and that of others, I went with 225/45/17 in the front and 245/40/17 in the rear. I got the 17x9 60 ET and I am on stock shocks and Tein S springs, which i believe is a 0.8 inch drop.

Do you guys think I need a custom alignment, like negative camber? Or should I be good with just normal install. Any special instructions I should give the wheel shop?

Shoot me some pics when you get them installed. I just put mine on 17x9 +60 all around. But I went with 245/40 and 255/40. I have Tein S Techs waiting to go on. Ill get some pics when I get home.

that looks great! What tire and wheel size did you go with? Any rubbing during the track event? Im looking to pick up a set for track and autox events.

Also, do you think I could get away with the 17x8 Enkei pf01 with a 245/40? Reason being is the 17x8 +50 fits my stoptech bbk and the 17x9+60 does not. I have the fenders tabs pushed up and out of the way but the rest of the fender is not rolled.
