Default Please Help Rota D2!

ok here it is...I bought the 18 inch black rota d2's from discount tire about 3 months ago and have been waiting and waiting. Everytime we call rota they have some stupid excuse to delay the order and my tires are EXTREMELY bald because I have been waiting to get new tires with the rotas. (didnt want to buy new oem tires to ride for just a month) They said it should arrive in April, but they also said it was coming in dec, then jan, then feb, then march...I am starting to feel stupid waiting for this wheel to come and been hearing it is a bad wheel choice as well. I really want a wheel that is black with a chrome lip that would look good on my 03 berlina S2k that I wouldnt need to wait on. Thanks.

What style wheel do you like??? I'm sure Discount Tire will let you change to an equally priced set that you don't have to wait all year for. Have you check their site to see what else is available???

I thought the d2's didn't fit, or was it just the 17"?

I heard the exact same thing about these Rota's. Something to do with not having S2K friendly offsets.

xman03 - what are the offsets on your D2's?

it wasn't because of the offset but rather the wheels spoke would come in contact with the calipher I believe....

I don't have the d2's but I believe the offset is 48

Any idea if it didn't clear the front or the back calipers? I'd assume spacers could be used but that would further reduce the offset.
