really? ... maybe the the lighting, or my laptop's lcd screen, or bad eyes... looks lighter than the matte gunmetal i've seen in other pics...

just for reference...

Matte Gunmetal

Matte Bronze

I'm still trying to decide on a set of rims+tire combo for next track season... and am leaning towards these... other options right now are rpf1 and 6ulr

Camber and a bit of toe in the rear helps out a ton. I bet you could get the car back to neutral with just an alignment and your comptech. I am 515lbs front and rear with -2 front and -2.5 rear.
Just got the alignment done yesterday so I wouldn't destroy the tires on the way to Austin on Monday morning... It helped a bit, but I can't put nearly as much camber in since I'm still at stock ride height. The camber was actually dead on with the factory settings before the alignment- -0.5 in the front and -1.5 in the rear. My left wheels' toe were both out. It feels slightly better now, but I still get a little tail wag at the limit.

Just have to decide between HKS Hipermax III and KW v3 with staggered spring rates now- maybe that'll kill the wagging tail.

The matt gunmetal does have some bronze tint that can be seen when viewed directly in sunlight. When you get off axis is looks more blackish. I thought for a bit that they sent me the bronze ones by mistake but the bronze ones are VERY bronze.

yeah lookin' good... have you seen the bronze in person? have any pics? if i go bronze, the color would have to be similar to ce28 or te37... when you say "very" bronze, do you mean it has alot of red hues/tint?

side question, have you seen the 6ulr on an s2k in person also?

I have not seen the bronze in person but it looks more coppery than the gun metal which is darker.

I have seen the 6UL wheels in person. The gunmetal they use is darker (I like the 6UL color better) but I don't like the look of the actual wheel at all.

yeah same here... from the original design pictures, i thought the 6ulrs were going to look great on the S... but i don't like any of the pics i've seen... on the other hand, they seem to fit the miata well, maybe because of the smaller diameter?!...

i guess i'll go w/ the matte gunmetal... coppery doesn't sound like it will look good against spa yellow... thanks for the input

I wish I knew about these a couple of months ago. I would have gotten a set of polished for my Laguna instead of the used Bronze Volk RE-30's. Would have saved me half the cost. These are almost too baller for me, but for the price I'd still run them. They look much better than the 6ULR's too.
