Potenza S04's | Anyone Using Them?
Has anyone been running with Bridgestone Potenza S04's? What are your opinions?

I've never used them but I am sure they are a good tire. However, during my research about a year 1/2 ago S04s seemed to get mediocre reviews. So I made a decision to go with CONTINENTAL DW a shot.
I am now on a second set of rims with second set of DW tires. They are amazing, especially if you would like a little comfort. With 300hp/200tq I don't have ANY traction issues with 215/245 setup.

I no longer own an S2000, but I know how sensitive tires come across on this car. I had the S02's which were good, but when they broke traction, they really broke traction. The S03's were amazing, especially in the rain. Felt like I was on F1 rain tire. I assumed the S04's are an evolution on that.
I saw some of those reviews too, which I found odd since that is Bridgestone's halo tire.

Below is a test that we did here with the S04. Overall the only tire better was the Pilot Super Sport. They are and excellent handling tire in both wet and dry.
If I can help let me know.

I'm currently running these on my car for about 3 months now.
First of: These are not Bridgestone's halo tires. That would be the RE-11.
My previous tires were RE-050 and most recent RE-01R.
If 01R's grip/traction were a 10, then these would be at least a 9 and 050 around 7.5-8.
Ride is softer(what I was looking for) than the others due to a softer sidewall. Was hesitant about this at first but just needs some time to get used to. No problem with that now.
Road noise is significantly better and road bumps doesn't feel like so harsh like before

Sorry I accidentally clicked on post.
These overall are great tires. Would highly recommend for anyone who's looking for tires that has excellent grip, yet civilize on road noise and slightly softer sidewall. I don't want to use the word compromise, but these are perfect for anyone who has RE-11 kind of tires yet without the noise and harsh sidewall.
