there's generally two type of people running non-staggered

one type is moron that looks for some cheap wheels

another type if track junkie that needs the extra braking and turn in. (9 inch +)

if you are doing non-staggered because you can use cheap wheel, you are doing it for the wrong reason

If you're gonna be running anything less than 245 all around, you'll be losing a significant amount of overall grip and handling.

If you're running a 245+ all the way around, your overall grip will be improved, however your car will have an oversteering tendency. Track junkies usually counter this with an upgraded front anti-sway bar.

Most people with staggered setups run a 17x9 +63 with 245 or 255.

if you don't know what you're doing (at the track), or why you would run non-staggered sizing, then running non-staggered sizes is not for you. stick with a proper stagger.
