Default Question about - camber and offset

im a noob at buying rims and i just bought some ASA rims from a friend that are 18x8(+40) and 18x9(+45) for my ap1. the rims stick out and rub a little if i get negative camber should it help the rubbing issue? and when i get the negative camber should the rim be flush with the car? thanks for the help

It depends how low u are. The lower u go the more camber u can add. Adjust the height where u want it and get it aligned and tell them how much camber u want.

It will also depend on the tire and the size of the tire. With those offset a fender roll will probably also be needed.

well i have right now 225 40 18 in the front and 245 45 18 in the back. they raised my car like 2inches and the rear rub. i selling the tires in the next week and i think im going to strecth the tires and get 215 35 18 in the front and 225 35 18. what do you all think?

245/45 18 is waaaay to tall. 245/35 18 is what you need on the rear and 215/40 18 for the front. 215/35 18 is too short. Getting those the sizes I recommended will help tons, but some extra camber wouldn't hurt. Any pictures of that setup?
