Default Question about wheel spacers

So.. I have a set of aftermarket wheels on my s2000 right now.. But I would like to add spacers to the rear.

First.. My aftermarket wheels don't have recessed pockets in the wheel so I can't use a spacer that would have the oem studs sticking out.

What are my options?
I really just wanna add 10-15mm spacer.

Would 15mm or 20mm spacers clear the oem studs?
If I installed extended wheel studs.. Would my wheel fit with a 10mm spacer and still have the recommended thread turn allowed to be safe to drive?
Should I take my wheels to a machine shop and have them drill recessed hole in the back? Is that even safe?

I don't wanna cut the excess oem wheel stud on a 15mm spacer to make my wheels fit without the recessed pockets.
Because I might wanna change my wheels later down the road.

Any info would help

Thanks.

Installing extended studs would be the way I would go. Extended studs should easily work with a 10mm spacer.
