Question for those with 17's
For those with 17's on stock suspensions - what kind of tire life are you getting relative to stock? And how's the ride...i.e. how much stiffer does it feel, how much worse does it feel going over potholes and imperfections in the pavement, etc.?
I know the answers depend on the choice of tires as well, but I'd like to get a rough idea. My last car had aftermarket wheels that made it a nightmare to go over just about anything resembling a pothole, and tire life decreased significantly...I'd like to avoid that this time around.
Thanks!

i'm running 17s, with the same outside diameter as stock, so 1/2" less rubber on the road.
surprisingly, the ride quality is not harsher given a good road surface. potholes and the like are a bit more abrupt, but in general, the only bumps that are harsh are the ones i would've steered around anyway.
i think LIGHT 17s are a good upgrade for this car.

Actually I don't care if it's cushy and plush, just as long as it's not bone-jarring to go over road imperfections. I used to have a Supra with 18" wheels, and that was pretty close to bone-jarring when the road was anything short of perfect.
In any case, I kept the 16's and just got Kumhos put on this morning...still getting a feel for them.
Thanks for the feedback everyone...
