Default question on uneven tires

I recently had my car aligned because i noticed both a slight drift and that the steering wheel didn't correct 100% when I would sling it to the right as opposed to the left.

After the alignment, I noticed that the car drove pretty straight but that the lack of center correction was still there.

As recommended on this forum, I decided to swap the two front tires temporarily just to see if the correction problem would change sides and sure enough it did.

When I swapped the tires, I noticed that the steering feels tighter going from right to center and it seems almost 100% that the lack of even correction is related to the two front tires because when I swaped them back, the steering felt tighter on the other side.

So my question is, am I hurting the suspension or alignment by driving with this imperfection, and would something like this be under warranty ? I have 9600 miles on the car.

I did swap the tires back because I know they are directional. They are the stock ones and have never been replaced.

Thanks,

You won't hurt the car but it would not be covered by a warranty at this point. It probably will wear the tires unevenly though.
