Default RE-01R Replacements

So I have a question for the board. I have a set of RE-01Rs on my stock AP1 and my rear tires need replacement but the fronts still have close to 50% of their tread left (running close to the Euro alignment).

I haven

I'd keep the RE01R's up front and run new RE11's in back.

I would be careful about running old 01r's and new re11's

Best bet would be to look at some Dunlop Star Specs and replace all 4

If you are worried about your budget stay away from RE01Rs and RE11s!

Actually, I'd probably run new Dunlop Star Specs at the back and keep the RE01R's up front until they're done. If they're below halfway, it might be worth it to go ahead and get all four, as I believe there's a $50 rebate if you get 4.

There is a rebate on both the Dunlop and the RE11 right now. If you were to run the RE-11 rear and the RE01R front the car will tend to understeer at the limits. It would not hurt the car to mix them but you would just have to know that the rear will overpower the fronts.
If I can help let me know.

what about the other way around,

having RE-01R at the back, and RE-11 at the front?

I bought the RE-01R at tirerack blow out sale for the back.

But I am still shopping for the front pairs.

im in the same situation as the op... i dont mind replacing all 4 if its best but id have to wait a a few weeks to get the money for the fronts and i need the rears now haha.

I'd suggest Star Spec. They're a consistent top-performer and are really reasonably priced.
