Default RE01-R

Okay, with good close out deal for RE01-R ($95 each only) in tirerack, I was thinking about picking these up, except, they're all out of the 245/40/17 s.

So I have to go for 245/45/17 s.

How much difference will there be going to the 245/45s? I realize it's only 5%.

Oh, and what's the tread life / expectancy from these, comparing to the stock RE050?

I have to shop other place for the front sets 215/45/17 as well, since tirerack sold out as well for the RE01-R

get them plain and simple, they are amazing tires for a rediculious price there isnt going to be any noticable different with a 45 side wall, They have a 160 treadwear which is pretty low but, you will prob just alittle less then the stock tires.

There's going to be a difference, but on the street you won't feel it.

Ask Jim if the larger diameter tires will interfere with the ABS before you buy them.

The 245/45R17 would not work well on the car. They are 1" taller than the stock tire and will throw off the anti lock brakes.
