Default Rear tire wear

Right rear tire seems to be wearing more than the left rear. (22k miles weekends only.) Would it be ok to swap left & right tires? Thx in advance

This is completely normal - due to the way the Torsen limited slip differential apportions torque. Usually, by the time my right rear is worn out, the tires have been so heat cycled that I replace them both even though there may be another few hundred left in the left rear. I don't think it's worth moving the tires side to side, especially because they are directional tires and doing it properly requires them to be removed, remounted and rebalanced. It's just not worth the hassle or expense.

BTW, getting 22k miles out of rear OEM SO2s is doing very well!

I'd say getting 22k out of rear SO2's is more like a miricle.

I got 5k miles from my S02's......... (rear). I made the mistake of buy S03's replacement, which i only got 7k miles. The S03's was a lesson learned.......... pay attention to tread wear.......... for the style of driving you like.

My miles are fast and fun weekend also........... no burn outs!

I just bought some new S02's ........ 225/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear

MOST EXCELLENT............

so our lsd puts more torque on the right tire..by default?

just wondering how the lsd make the rear right tire wear faster?

thanks
