Default Removing Spacers with built in studs?

The rear is easy to get the spacers off. Just have the parking brake on. But how do I get the front spacers off without spinning the wheels?

Got 4 of the 5 bolts loose on the drivers side. And it looks like I rounded the last one. I even used WD-40 on it. How do I remove a rounded bolt without damaging the original car stud?

Try hammering on a socket that's one size smaller and hope for the best.

Its a bolt that holds the spacer onto the studs, not the lug nut. Found an easy out at Sears and will try again in the morning.

The easy out didn't work. I pounded it on pretty hard with a hammer and it just made the bolt more round. If I end up going somewhere to have the stud cut off and need a new stud, what else needs to be replaced on the front?

You should be able to replace just the stud. Next time make sure they are torqued to the right spec.

To replace studs you will need to replace the bearings as well. You can't get to the stud without pulling the hub out.

Went to a mechanic and he couldn't get the bolt off either. He said he would be able to replace the stud tomorrow. Should be interesting.

The bolts were torqd to 80 ft/lbs by me. I am wondering if the very last time they were taken off by a tire shop with a gun. And that caused the one to get stuck on. Because tire shops won't let you leave with a spacer attached.

On the brighter side I do have the matte black RPF1 17x9 +45 offset on one side of the car.
